![]() One of the reasons as i understand it that CVA went to Jukar for thier later barrels was to get away from extrudingĪnd their production costs were much cheaper then found here in the US in most cases barrel companies do not use extruded steels anymore. I know of only a few that failed after and both those resulted in a crack not a complete rupture. ![]() ![]() thus they had a failure rate most times found right at the factory during breeching. The barrel will be a Douglas or sherion barrel. either of these rifles would be 100% American made. If the barrel is stamped MADE IN THE USA then it will either be a mountain rifle or one of a very limited amount of full stalk 1 peice Kentucky’s that CVA made.
